Hong Kong Summer Spectacular
Welcome to ‘Festive Hong Kong 2010’, an exciting year-long sequence of festivals and events that offers visitors an assortment of unique traditional Chinese festivals and Western cultural celebrations. One of the many highlights of Festive Hong Kong 2010 is the Hong Kong Summer Spectacular (11 June – 31 August), organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and packed with scorching action, cool attractions, great events plus a host of sensational shop and dine offers.
The festivities commence in June at the city’s popular attractions including Disneyland, Wetland Park and Ocean Park. In July, the action shifts to East Tsim Sha Tsui for the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival (July 23 – 25). It’s three days of marvellous entertainment in a carnival atmosphere on land, while on the water, the world’s best paddlers compete in the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races. The ‘Summer Pop – Live in Hong Kong’ concert (27 – 29 August) at the Hong Kong Coliseum features leading artists and groups.
